Longing by Mark Hayes
Happy 4th of July!
The Fireworks came back, and it seems like many people are enjoying the process of going back to normal.
My calendar is filling up rather quickly.
Yet, I have been feeling nervous about the uncertainty... because the truth is that no one knows about Covid-19 from their experience, not to mention the Delta variant.
I send a "Happy Birthday" message to all of my friends for their birthdays following the Facebook reminder. I sent a birthday message to one of my friends (whom I don't remember how I connected with this person) two days ago, and yesterday I received a Facebook message from this person's uncle saying that this friend died on May 28th.
I rushed through my Facebook pages to find out what has happened to this friend and found out that he died from Covid-19.
My heart is heavy feeling this unknown burden for upcoming works that show in my calendar.
All I can do is to pray God watch over me trusting Him to take care of me.
"For I know the plans I have for you," declares the Lord, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future." - Jeremiah 29:11
